Expressions of interest open for early site works
Origin’s approach for the Yanco Delta wind farm project starts with appointing prime contractors for the Balance of Plant (BOP) and Turbine Supply and Installation (TSI) packages, these contractors will in turn award and manage the related sub-contracting work packages.
The BOP scope of works includes site civil and electrical works.
Site civil works include constructing access roads and wind turbine foundations, provision of all temporary facilities during construction (offices, crib rooms, temporary lighting etc.), supply and operation of the construction accommodation camp, and the supply and installation of the permanent operations and administration buildings.
Site electrical works include supply, installation and testing of electrical substations and equipment, plus designing and constructing the electrical reticulation for the wind farm.
Available work packages are now being offered via a project specific Gateway by ICN page.
Regional or local business interested in contracting or supplying to the project can also submit a capability statement to register their expression of interest. Use the Gateway by ICN capability profile as a guide to create a capability statement and email powerdevelopmentprojects@origin.com.au
