Business NSW partnership delivers first workshops for the Riverina Murray

Following the launch of the Supporting You in Business partnership in April, Origin Energy and Business NSW Riverina Murray are rolling out the first in a series of practical workshops designed to support local communities, businesses and organisations to build capability and prepare for future opportunities.

The upcoming sessions reflect the partnership’s focus on providing accessible, practical support that responds to local needs, while helping the region navigate change associated with major investment and development, including the Yanco Delta Wind Farm.

Building capability for funding and growth

A Business Writing Masterclass will be held on Friday 19 June (Albury and online), supporting participants to strengthen their writing skills for funding
applications, awards and business cases.

With the Yanco Delta Wind Farm Community Investment Fund open until 28 June, the session will support community groups, individuals and businesses to prepare strong applications and clearly communicate their ideas and outcomes.

Supporting businesses through change

A second session, Workplace Update Seminar – What Every Employer Needs to Know (2026), will take place on Wednesday 24 June in Deniliquin.

This workshop will provide practical guidance on upcoming industrial relations changes, helping businesses and organisations understand their obligations and prepare for what’s ahead.

These events are part of a broader program that aims to strengthen local capability, build confidence and support participation in emerging opportunities across the region.
